This study resulted in a collection of quantitative and qualitative data about the experiences of cancer patients and caregivers. These findings were compiled and made into actionable recommendations for the development of future tools for connecting members of online health communities.

One academic paper, of which I am a coauthor, is under review for publishing in the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association (JAMIA).

However, I can disclose a related poster that I presented during the Undergraduate Research Symposium at the University of Washington.  The poster summarizes findings around the research question “what do people managing cancer value in a good mentor?”
